Baku hosted the Azerbaijan – Uzbekistan Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs.

It was attended by a delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva.

Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the People’s Bank Gulzoda Rashidova delivered a speech on the large-scale measures taken in Uzbekistan to provide the necessary assistance to women, in particular, the work carried out by the People’s Bank to provide them with financial support.

Following the meetings between women entrepreneurs of the two countries, 19 agreements and memorandums worth over $54 million were signed.
