On June 5, Azerbaijan hosted the opening ceremony of the Baku Energy Week.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, addressed the event.

It was stressed that the Baku Energy Week is the largest industry event in the Caspian region and an essential forum for establishing cooperation in this direction.

Representatives of countries such as Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Belgium, the UK, Hungary, the United States, Poland, and Algeria are participating in the event, which is organized jointly with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and SOCAR.

The 29th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition, the 12th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition, and the 29th Baku Energy Forum will be organized within the framework of this forum.

At the exhibition, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also became familiar with Uzbekneftegaz’s corporate stand. The distinguished guest was informed in detail about Uzbekneftegaz’s ongoing and planned joint projects with Azerbaijani companies.

According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, B2B and B2G meetings and negotiations will take place during this Week regarding oil and gas field development, production, processing, and transportation, effective use of information technology capabilities, and introducing new innovative solutions.
