The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan Sabine Machl, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

It was emphasized that the provisions of the Strategy “Uzbekistan 2030” are entirely consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals. Uzbekistan has a broad program of cooperation with the United Nations and its institutions, demonstrating high dynamics in all areas.

The Government of Uzbekistan has a broad cooperation agenda with the UN and its bodies. Our close cooperation has been witnessing high dynamics in all directions. 9 resolutions initiated by Uzbekistan have been adopted by the UN recently, 3 in 2024. Even more is to come. MFA of Uzbekistan stands ready to provide all the necessary support to the team of the UN Office in Uzbekistan”, Uzbek FM noted.
