On May 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a roundtable discussion in Rome with representatives of about 30 leading Italian companies.

“Today in Rome, we held a roundtable meeting with about 30 Italian businesses”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. “Had a candid discussion with these leading companies on the future implementation of joint projects in energy, textile, transport, IT, engineering, and other areas. Underscored the enormous potential to utilize in economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy, especially in B2B format. Grateful to Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Maria Tripodi for her support”.

On May 28-29, the Uzbekistan delegation led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov will participate in the Third MFA Conference in the Italy – Central Asia format in Rome and hold several bilateral negotiations.
