According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with members of the U.S. House of Representatives – Mike Rogers, Adam Smith, Salud Carbajal and Veronica Escobar.

As it was noted during the dialogue, new opportunities are opening up in Uzbekistan – American strategic partnership.

The Uzbek side highly appreciates the efforts of American partners to stimulate inter-parliamentary friendship, develop business ties, and expand the scope of partnership in education.

Uzbekistan is interested in deepening direct contacts with all U.S. states, especially in the economic direction.
