Bakhtiyor Saidov attends the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States

On May 21, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, attended the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which was held in Budapest, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The development of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the OTS, as well as current issues on the international and regional agenda, were discussed at the meeting.

Uzbek FM stressed the importance of the Budapest Forum, which serves as a symbolic bridge between East and West.

Special attention was paid to the significance of the Budapest Declaration adopted following the meeting. According to Bakhtiyor Saidov, this document reflects the desire of the participating states to deepen a partnership based on the principles of mutual support and oriented towards sustainable development.

“The Budapest Declaration is a landmark document that prioritizes even more dynamic economic cooperation for the sake of common prosperity”, the Minister noted.
