According to insidethegames website, candidates for the Athletes' Committee, which will be part of the system of the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA), will be elected at the ongoing World Championships in Serbia.

According to AIBA President Umar Kremlev, the commission will include 27 famous athletes.

Each continental confederation that is part of the AIBA system has nominated candidates for inclusion in the commission. Among them is Uzbekistan’s Olympic Games winner Bakhodir Jalolov.

The voting will be held in a closed format. The names will be announced at the World Cup.
