On March 19, with the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, the legendary ensemble “Bahor” will perform at Dubai Opera, UAE.

A grandiose show will be organized with spectacular dance numbers, national costumes and fascinating playing of folk instruments.

The band's repertoire includes many solo and group numbers. The “Bahor” ensemble combines the achievements of modern Uzbek dance with the centuries-old traditional dance culture of the Uzbek people. The team has created stage dance productions of new content based on historical, ethnographic and modern folk dances, including “Zang”, “Davra”, “Katta Oyun”, “Tanavor”, “Lazgi”, “Munojot”, and others.

In 1964, “Bahor” was awarded the title of “Honored Ensemble of Uzbekistan”. In 1979, the collective was named after Mukarram Turgunbayeva.

The ensemble toured in such countries as Libya, Morocco, Yemen, Tunisia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, China, and became a laureate of the 6th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow, as well as the 8th International Dance Festival in Leipzig.
