Kokand hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the occasion of the 540th anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s birth.

It was organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture – TURKSOY together with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Hokimiyat of Fergana region, and several prestigious universities of the Turkic countries.

Deputy Hokim of Fergana region Khurshidjon Akhmedov, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Bilal Çakıcı, Rector of Kokand University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Gafurjon Zokhidov and others spoke about the originality of Babur’s heritage, which has a worthy place in the cultural treasury of the peoples of the world. It was noted that the Turkic peoples are working in solidarity in this direction.

The two-day conference provided new information on the study of the life and work of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.
