AVC President, Ramon Suzara, will take part in the opening of the first major competition of 2026, the first round of the Top League of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Championship.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation, Jamshid Fayziyev, the championship matches between the men’s teams will take place on January 22-29 using the “challenge” integrated into the international system. This will play a significant role in ensuring the honesty and transparency of each meeting.

A draw, a meeting of the credentials committee, and a workshop for judges will take place tomorrow. On January 22, the group stage matches of the first round of the Major League will begin at the Olympic Village’s team sports hall and the “Jar” sports and recreation center. On January 24, the championship will open.
