Elections 2024
Today, the Central Election Commission held a meeting. The participants considered the issue of registering authorized representatives of political parties.
As noted, the Election Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan allows a political party that has nominated candidates for deputies to appoint its authorized representative to participate in election commission meetings, submit documents, check the accuracy of signature sheets, and count votes at polling stations.

The registration of an authorized representative is carried out by the Regulation on the authorized representative of a political party, approved by the Central Election Commission. According to the Regulation, the head of the highest body of a political party appoints his authorized representative within five days from the official announcement of the start of the election campaign and submits the relevant documents to the Central Election Commission for his registration.

The leaders of political parties appointed their authorized representatives and submitted the relevant documents to the CEC information system “E-saylov”.
The meeting reviewed the documents of authorized representatives recommended by the leaders of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat”, the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish’, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.

Then, a decision was made to register authorized representatives and issue them a mandate for the established form.
The Central Election Commission carried out the registration process through the “E-saylov” system, mandates were issued to authorized representatives in electronic format.
