The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria Abat Fayzullayev held talks with a member of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) Łukasz Januszewski.

Łukasz Januszewski highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan. According to him, Uzbekistan is one of the highest priority directions for building up RBI’s presence.

During the talks, Łukasz Januszewski announced plans to open an RBI representative office in Tashkent. The official opening of the bank’s office is scheduled for early 2022. According to him, this step is a confirmation of RBI’s serious intentions in enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan’s financial institutions.
