In the modern media space, attention to language policy, the development of national content, and the creation of competitive media texts in the global information space are essential issues.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Media Communication: Language Policy and Culture”, held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, was devoted to these issues.
The event, organized by the Department of Linguistic Support of Intercultural Communication of the University, was attended by scientists from Uzbekistan, as well as experts, professors, and teachers from Germany, Poland, Spain, India, Türkiye, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
The participants discussed the role and importance of print and electronic media in developing national content, creating media products, and exploring the possibilities of innovative technologies in sociolinguistics, language development, and teaching foreign languages.
