A joint meeting of the faction of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection took place.

Special attention was paid to the issues of compliance with legislation in atmospheric air protection.

It was noted that the quality of atmospheric air in Uzbekistan, including in Tashkent, has deteriorated recently. The deputies spoke about the reasons for this situation and the necessary measures.

It was noted that it was necessary to constantly study the state of implementing laws to protect atmospheric air, further strengthen parliamentary supervision, ensure public participation in this process, and guarantee transparency in informing the public about the measures taken.

After active discussions, an agreement was reached on creating a working group among deputies and studying facilities that negatively affect the atmospheric air.
