Bursa hosted the International Gemlik Karate Tournament.

The Shotokan Karate-do Association team successfully participated in it. In the Kumite competition in the 55 kg weight category, Munisa Esonova won a gold medal, and Saidalo Saidjabborov took the top spot in the Kata competition. Diyorbek Bakhodirov won second place in the Kata competition and third place in the Kumite competition. Umidjon Mirzarakhimov (bronze), Shokhrukh Rustamov (silver), and Valijon Shamsiyev won gold (kumite) and silver medals (kata) among veterans.
