Astana hosts an expert forum “Central Asia – Russia: an agenda for joint development”.
The event was organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazISS) together with the Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The forum is attended by heads and experts of leading analytical centers in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia. The heads of diplomatic missions of all Central Asian countries and Russia accredited in Kazakhstan were present as guests of honor.
Uzbekistan delegation is presented by the Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) A. Nasirov, the First Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) A. Nematov, the head of the IICA department Sh. Fayziyev, the head of the ISRS department M. Aitov, and other experts.
The participants are discussing the current issues of developing equal and mutually beneficial relations between Central Asian countries and Russia.
