The Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships have kicked off in Dubai, UAE.

According to Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, representatives of 18 Asian countries are taking part in the continental championships. Countries such as Japan, China and Korea did not send their athletes to Dubai due to the epidemiological situation.

Representatives of all age categories of Uzbekistan National Boxing Team are taking part in the competitions in Dubai.

In accordance with the charter of the Asian Championships, the winners of the youth competition will receive a reward of $6000. Silver and bronze medalists will receive $3000 and $1500, respectively. Juniors will receive $4000, $2000 and $1000.

The Championships will last until August 30 this year.
