However, the exact dates are not yet known. The 14th Asian Taekwondo Championships in Beirut according to the championships calendar was to be held on March 3-6. The organizers postponed the championships until May 13-15, but even these dates do not meet the requirements of conduction.
President of the World Taekwondo Federation, Chungwon Choue, postponed the championships scheduled for April and May to a later date.
Uzbekistan team was preparing for the championships in Beirut. Taekwondo players are among the strongest in the world. They won six gold, five silver and 18 bronze medals.
