The 21st International Tournament for the Cup of Judo Union of Asia among youth and cadets, in tribute to the memory of the judo master of sports Uchkun Muradov, has taken place in the Chirchik College of Olympic Reserve in Tashkent Region.
About 120 young men and women from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, along with our compatriots, vied for victory in the tournament organized by Uzbekistan’s Judo Federation.
Our athletes Behruz Amindavlatov, Olovuddin Jurakulov, Gholibjon Sulaimonov, Sherkhon Turaboev overwhelmed all contenders in their weight categories and earned gold medals.
Among girls, those who rose to the highest pedestal were Guzal Yunusova, Mohichehra Shirinova, Lida Alimova, Dilnoza Kamolova, Diyora Keldiyorova, Gulnur Murodboeva, Sanobar Sultanova.
In team perspectives, our athletes won 11 gold, 12 silver and 24 bronze medals and proved second to no one.
