The Asian Handball Championship among girls under 19 is taking place at the Alpomish Sports Palace in Tashkent. Another day of the continental tournament also proved successful for the Uzbekistan national team.

In the second round, the Uzbekistan national team defeated Hong Kong with a score of 45:15. The Iranian handball players lost to Japan 18:30, while China secured a victory over Chinese Taipei 27:14. The match between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea ended 17:40.

Today, August 22, matches will be held between India and China, Japan and Kyrgyzstan, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan and Iran.

The Uzbekistan handball players will rest today and tomorrow. On August 24, they will face Chinese Taipei, with the match starting at 18:00.
