On the seventh day of the Asian Games, Uzbekistan’s judokas won their first medals.

Artyom Shturbabin, competing in the weight category up to 66 kg, defeated his opponent from Iran, Majid Barimanlou, in the final and won the gold medal. In the weight category of up to 52 kilograms, two of Uzbekistan’s athletes, Hilola Ortiqboyeva and Sitora Elmurodova, fought for victory. The match ended in favor of Hilola, she won gold, and Sitora won silver.
