Kurash championships continue at the Asian Games in China. Member of the Uzbekistan Kurash Team Malika Kakhorova took third place in the 70 kg weight category championships.

In the championships in the 81 kg weight category, Umid Esanov defeated his opponent from Afghanistan, Hassan Rasooli, and reached the final. In the fight for gold, our compatriot defeated Bekadil Shaimberedenov from Kazakhstan.

On the last championships day, Uzbekistan’s athletes won three gold medals and a silver medal.
