Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Qatar Ashraf Khodjayev met with Qatari Minister of State for Interior Affairs Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani.

The Minister of State for Interior Affairs of Qatar noted that the close friendly relations between the two countries’ leaders are essential in strengthening bilateral ties. He stressed that the Qatari side is ready to enhance cooperation further with Uzbekistan’s law enforcement agencies.

During the visit, the importance of ensuring the practical implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Qatar and Uzbekistan on October 2, 2023, in Doha was noted.

Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani also invited the Uzbek side to the Milipol Qatar World National Security Exhibition, which will be held in Doha in October this year. This event is expected to serve as an important platform for the parties to discuss promising areas of partnership.
