Five Caspian countries (Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan) agreed on preparations for the upcoming sixth Caspian Summit, which will be held on June 29 in Ashgabat.

According to TASS, this was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference on the results of talks with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

“We are members of the Caspian Five”, Mr. Lavrov said. – Ashgabat will host the summit next week, and we have agreed on our actions to prepare for this important event.
