The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation hosted a workshop on “Creative Economy of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)”.

Advisor to the Minister Bobur Rakhimov gave a lecture on the importance of generative artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies in the development of the creative economy and informed about the work carried out in Uzbekistan in this direction.

The participants discussed the creation of animation content in the SCO member states, the introduction of digital technologies in the creative economy, as well as the adaptation of folk art to modern realities.

Bobur Rakhimov cited the ongoing work on using the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence as an example, expressed his opinion on their international expansion, attracting qualified specialists working in this sphere, and training the younger generation.

It was noted that the result of the use of artificial intelligence technologies can have both positive and negative consequences.

The importance of taking the necessary transparency and security measures to maximize benefits and minimize risks were noted.
