The Presidential Resolution recently signed, “On comprehensive measures for the digital transformation of the internal affairs system”, carries significant relevance.

Olimjon Mirzayev, Director of the Cybersecurity Center SUE, shared his views on the resolution:
– With the development of information technologies and their implementation in all aspects of human life, new threats are emerging alongside greater convenience. In our national digital space, cyber threats are growing in parallel. Among the main threats are the theft of personal data through fraud and the spread of malicious software.
In this context, along with the need for internal affairs officers to use information technologies extensively, they are also tasked with combating crimes committed through these technologies.
The Presidential Resolution on the digital transformation of internal affairs agencies outlines the system’s digital transformation as a primary strategic objective. It emphasizes ensuring cybersecurity in the sector and broadly applying artificial intelligence and information technologies in the fight against crime.
By implementing these objectives, we will establish a digital infrastructure within internal affairs agencies capable of responding to today’s evolving threats.
