On November 11, the Uztelecom delegation held a meeting at Huawei headquarters. At the meeting, the parties discussed future cooperation in 5G technologies, artificial intelligence, and the use of big data in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, employees of the national telecom operator got acquainted with ICT innovations to introduce advanced technologies in Uzbekistan.

The possibilities and best practices of implementing 5G and 5.5G networks using artificial intelligence and big data technologies were studied in such areas as strengthening the country’s ICT infrastructure, particularly the implementation of the concepts of smart cities and smart homes.

Using artificial intelligence and big data will help accelerate the digitalization process in Uzbekistan. This will allow intellectuality to improve the quality of life in society and everyday work processes.

For many years, the parties have cooperated in implementing significant projects and introducing innovations in communications. In particular, during ICTWEEK 2024 in September, companies launched the 5.5G network for the first time in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation to implement a project to introduce artificial intelligence and big data technologies.
