Army Games 2022: Uzbekistan hosts 5 competitions of the VIII International Army Games

The International Army Games, demonstrating the combat power and potential of the national army, combat readiness and professional training of the defenders of the Motherland, this year will be held on 13-27 August in 12 countries of the world.

In the Army Games, military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan will take part in competitions in 20 areas. 275 teams from 37 countries will participate in these competitions consisting of 34 directions. In particular, for the first time in Uzbekistan, competitions will be held in 5 areas – “Field Kitchen”, “Master Gunsmith”, “Safe Environment”, “Road Patrol”, and “True Friend”.

The teams of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan will take part in such competitions as “Elbrus Ring”, “Masters of Armored Vehicles”, “Excellence in Military Intelligence”, “Tank Biathlon”, “Military Medical Relay Race”, “Military Rally” and “Engineering Formula”, which will be held in Russia.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, appropriate preparations have been carried out for all competitions to be held in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that at the International Army Games in 2021, the team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won 4 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals and took the honorable 2nd place in the team standings of prestigious competitions. 10 out of 37 record results were updated by the military personnel of Uzbekistan.
