According to the Cultural Heritage Agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the archaeological expedition of Khorezm Mamun Academy continues to explore the ancient settlement of Kyat-Kala.

As a result of the research carried out in the western part of this archaeological site, preserved parts of the first ancient (IV-III centuries BC) and late antique (II-IV centuries AD) architectural structures were found.

Pottery, fragments of marble ceramics, belonging to these two periods of the settlement’s life, and copper rings were found during the research.

Fragments of ancient pottery were also found in the lower layers of the archaeological site, which gives new information about the construction of the site. Archaeological research continues.
