Archaeological Center publishes “The Western Turkic Khaganate: History and Monetary System” monograph
The National Archaeological Center of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan has published a monograph “The Western Turkic Khaganate: History and Monetary System”.
The book is devoted to the history of the Western Turkic Khaganate (568-740), which has an important place in the history of Uzbek statehood and current issues of the monetary system.
The monograph can serve as the main or auxiliary source in the study of social-humanitarian sciences, including history, archaeology, ethnology and linguistics.
It presents the material found in the archaeological sites of ancient settlements on the territory of Uzbekistan, which are practically not found in other Central Asian countries. The book can also be used as an auxiliary source on the history, numismatics, ethnology and linguistics of the peoples of Eurasia, including the Turkic peoples.
