The Republic of Karakalpakstan widely celebrates Navruz.

Nukus city hosted an event under the theme “Let every day be Navruz, my dear Uzbekistan!”.

At the event, A. Orinbayev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan congratulated the participants and guests with Navruz.

A concert program was shown. Performances by young athletes were organized, songs by representatives of different nationalities were performed. As part of the festive events, various sports competitions and charity events were held, exhibitions of national clothes, craftsman’s products and artists were organized.

Festive events on the occasion of Navruz continue in all districts of the Aral Sea region.
