Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States today covers an increasing number of areas – from economy and investment to education and the introduction of innovative technologies. Against this backdrop, the opinions of our compatriots who live and work in the United States, having received education and experience in leading global companies, are of particular value.
One such specialist is Anvar Ahrorqulov – an expert in finance and IT, and an Artificial Intelligence Manager at the international corporation Blackstone.
“I have lived in the United States since 1998, where I also graduated from university with dual specializations in finance and computer programming. My professional career has taken me through various companies, mainly investment funds. I worked at organizations such as Citadel and Millennium Management, and currently, I am a software development manager at Blackstone”, he said.
According to Ahrorqulov, his current work is connected to the implementation of artificial intelligence and neural networks.
“We are transitioning all our applications and developments to the use of AI, creating our own language models within the company. This is not only about chatbots but also about building intelligent agents capable of performing the work of several specialists at once. Thanks to these technologies, I feel that I now accomplish the tasks of not just one person, but ten”, the expert noted.
Speaking about Uzbekistan’s development, he emphasized that the ongoing changes are a significant milestone.
“I would very much like to meet and personally thank our President for the transformations taking place in the country. Of course, I would also like to learn how I can contribute to the further development of the country”, Ahrorqulov shared.
According to him, Uzbekistan is today demonstrating progress in all areas – from construction to the economy and trade. However, the expert believes that the country should pay greater attention to the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
“We are on the threshold of a new reality: literally within a year or two, AI will transform the processes familiar to us in many areas of life. Uzbekistan must adopt these technologies more quickly, as they will inevitably replace many traditional tools. I am pleased that more and more of our compatriots are studying not only in the United States but also in other leading universities around the world. This proves that we are growing and being recognized at a new level. Our specialists are already working with major international organizations, including Google, Facebook, and others. All of this speaks of progress and the fact that Uzbekistan is moving forward with confidence”, he emphasized.
