The UN Secretary-General António Guterres has completed his official visit to Uzbekistan.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials saw off the high-ranking guest at Tashkent International Airport.

During the visit, high-level talks were held in Tashkent. Issues of further enhancing Uzbekistan’s multifaceted cooperation with the UN and its institutions, as well as current aspects of global politics and regional relations, were considered. Particular attention was paid to the work in Uzbekistan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

During the visit, the UN Secretary-General António Guterres got acquainted with several industrial and social facilities and held bilateral meetings and events.
