Shymkent hosted the Uzbek Martial Arts World Cup.

Over 800 sportsmen from more than 10 countries competed for victory in individual and team disciplines, exercises “Martial art of the Temurids”, “Ulugbek” and “Bibikhanum”.

The national team of Uzbekistan took first place in the team event. The second place went to the national team of Kazakhstan, and the top three were closed by Tajikistan representatives.
