A resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measures to support women who want to learn professions (specialties) in colleges and technical schools.

According to the document, starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, women who want to study professions (specialties) in colleges and technical schools in construction, transport, public utilities, agriculture, and services will receive an education based on the state grant, and their expenses will be fully covered by state budget account.

The resolution also approved the corresponding provision.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan is entrusted with the task, together with relevant ministries and agencies, to continue work on the regular organization of career guidance (specialization) for graduates of grades 10 and 11 of secondary schools.
