Paris hosted a meeting with the Director of Policy Planning at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Manuel Lafont Rapnouil.
The event was attended by representatives of leading research centers of Uzbekistan – the International Institute for Central Asia, the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies, the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, as well as the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation between France and Uzbekistan in modern conditions, issues of interaction between the parties on international platforms.

Manuel Lafont Rapnouil noted the high dynamics of interaction between countries in recent years and great prospects for building up cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
At the meeting, much attention was paid to issues of strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.
Agreements were reached to continue the exchange of views on further strengthening multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and France through scientific and practical events.
