Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz noted the importance of this forum, which unites the businesspeople of the two fraternal states.

“Uzbekistan ranks third in the export of Turkish products and fifth in imports”, says Cevdet Yilmaz. “We hope to increase these indicators. In 2022, the trade turnover with Uzbekistan reached $3.5 billion, and the volume of Turkish investments in Uzbekistan reached $1.5 billion, and more than 1,700 Turkish companies operate in different regions of Uzbekistan”.

According to TRT Haber, it was noted at the forum that Turkish contractors have implemented 262 projects worth $6.9 billion in Uzbekistan. Tashkent City, Pyramid Tower, and Sky City are among these projects.

The forum participants signed eight memorandums of cooperation in various spheres.
