On October 29-30, Turkestan will host International Animation Film Festival AMEN, Kazinform reports.

The event will be attended by animators from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan and Tajikistan.

Master classes and trainings of leading foreign animators, an exhibition of the best animation film studios in Kazakhstan, as well as a roundtable discussion on the development of cinematography in Turkic-speaking states are planned to be held.

This year the festival, organized by OzgeEpic and the Association of Animation Film Studios of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan, will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
