A domestic tourism fair was organized for the first time in Andijan.

Speakers at the event dedicated to the fair’s opening, organized on the initiative of Andijan Regional Tourism Department, spoke about the work to develop domestic tourism in Andijan region, organize new tourist destinations, and create amenities for tourists.

The fair was attended by tour operators, travel agents, employees of hotels, hostels, family guest houses, representatives of enterprises, organizations, institutions, students, and tour operators arriving from the Osh and Jalalabad regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“Tourist routes have been organized in the region to visit 18 sites”, said Bekzodbek Yusupov, deputy head of the Regional Tourism Department. “At the same time, tour operators offer new services. In general, work is being actively done to widely use the opportunities of domestic tourism”.

At the fair, many tour operators presented expositions and presentations about tourist destinations and services. For example, the tour operator “Yalla” operating in Andijan offered services for organizing one- and three-day trips around the region.

As part of the fair, agreements were signed between tour operators and travel agents to attract tourists, organize tourist trips in the region, and cooperate with enterprises and organizations.
