The delegation led by the Hokim of Andijan region Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov is on a working visit to China.

According to the Andijan Regional Hokimiyat, as part of the trip, a delegation consisting of hokims of several districts and entrepreneurs plans to get acquainted with the activities of large Chinese companies and establish cooperation in several areas to attract Chinese investment in the region, expand cooperation in construction, trade, and train specialists.

The delegation met with representatives of CAMCE, which operates in energy, construction, engineering, implements many large international projects in these areas and has over 140,000 employees.

At the meeting, the CEO of the company acquainted the guests with the history and capabilities of the company, major projects implemented by the company in China and other countries. In turn, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov informed about the Andijan region and its business potential, the conditions created for foreign entrepreneurs.

At the meeting, a presentation was made on the possibilities of building solar and hydroelectric power plants in Andijan region, as well as new projects in this direction. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to develop, together with CAMCE, the alternative energy sector in Andijan, upgrade ropeways in tourist areas, build an airport, supply solar panels, as well as establish cooperation with the Andijan Institute of Economics and Construction and design institutes in the region.
