An observer from Pakistan: Activeness of Uzbekistan youth deserves all praise
17:39 / 2023-04-30

An observer who arrived from Pakistan, the Editor-in-Chief of the “Daily Ittehad” newspaper, Tahir Farooq, observing the referendum in Uzbekistan, expressed his opinion.

– I also participated in the Parliamentary and Presidential elections held in Uzbekistan. From the very morning, we began to observe the process of today’s referendum. What pleased me the most and attracted my attention was that the youth of Uzbekistan began to actively participate in the referendum process from the very morning. This indicates that young people are active and not indifferent to their future.

Constitutional reform is always an expected, normative process. The Constitution of each country is created for the country’s well-being. For example, the Constitution of Pakistan was adopted in 1973, and it has been amended 28 times over the past 50 years.

When the President of Uzbekistan took office, in his address he said that new amendments would be introduced to the Constitution. The results of today’s referendum will be positive. The main document adopted as a result will serve the well-being of Uzbekistan people and the stability of the government”, says an observer from Pakistan.

At the same time, it should be noted that the “Daily Ittehad” recently published analytical material on large-scale reforms, innovations and transformations carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and their results are widely covered in it.
