An investor can apply to the court to determine the amount and types of compensation to the owners of real estate with which he could not agree
In Uzbekistan, the implementation of investment projects in the relevant territory will be prohibited if at least one of its owners disagrees.
According to the Norma.uz portal, this measure is provided for by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers adopted on January 10 “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Regulations on the procedure for withdrawing land plots and providing compensation to owners of real estate, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 911 of 16.11. 2019”.
The document was adopted to prevent and efficiently resolve disputes arising from the withdrawal of land plots, as well as to strengthen the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of owners.
