The leadership of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation held a meeting with a delegation from China Southern Power Grid International.

The meeting was also attended by the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration, the Executive Director of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, A. Bekmurodov, and members of the delegation led by the Vice President of China Southern Power Grid International Zhang Tanzhi.

During the dialogue, detailed information was provided on the results achieved in reforming the economy and public administration, increasing the efficiency of the energy sector, and the conditions created for foreign investors.

It should be noted that within the framework of the Tashkent Investment Forum, construction projects in Bukhara region and in the future of wind power plants, hydraulic structures, and high-voltage power lines were discussed with the China Southern Power Grid company. Earlier, as part of the Third International Forum “Belt and Road”, an agreement was signed between Uzbekhydroenergy and China Southern Power Grid International on the construction of the Yuqori Pskem pumped storage power plant with a capacity of 600 megawatts in Bostanlyk district.

An agreement was reached on creating long-term internship programs for specialists from ministries and agencies and civil servants participating in large projects launched in the energy sector by establishing mutual cooperation. Both sides appointed specialists responsible for organizing this program.
