The involvement of investors in new industrial projects was discussed at the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the German company Mangold Consulting GmbH.

First Deputy Minister of Energy Azim Akhmedkhodjayev and the Chairman of the Mangold Consulting GmbH Klaus Mangold spoke about the successful experience of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the energy sector and the possibilities for its expansion.

A joint project has been proposed to transform Uzbekneftegaz into an investment-attractive and financially independent company and to provide long-term financing for the Rothschild & Co program for the modernization of the gas transmission system of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with Siemens AG.

Mr. Klaus Mangold was informed that it is planned to sign a memorandum with the German Energy Agency DENA.

The parties discussed the possibility of assisting Mangold Consulting GmbH in attracting potential German investors to the development and implementation of a project to create an industrial cluster in the gas chemical industry in Uzbekistan.
