To increase working capital and investments, travel companies and hotels will additionally open credit lines for 300 billion UZS. The procedure for reimbursement of one part of the interest on these loans by the State Fund for Entrepreneurship Support will be introduced.

At the meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was noted that an extra day stay of foreign tourists in Uzbekistan increases the annual tourism export by $300 million.

For example, at present, the period of stay of foreign tourists in Khorezm region is on average 2 days, the funds spent by them are $220. In Khorezm region, there are 2.5 times fewer foreign tourists than in Bukhara, Samarkand regions. But there is every opportunity to ensure the stay of tourists in Khorezm region for 3-4 days, while their costs will amount to 400-500 dollars.

Last year, 31 districts and 143 mahallas were transformed into tourist areas, and a separate tax regime was introduced for them. This opportunity was successfully used by Farish, Urgut, Khodjeyli, Payaryq, Nurata districts and the city of Angren.

The failure to use the opportunities provided by the Kagan, Kitab, Khatirchi, Qiziltepa, Yangikurgan, Taylak, Baysun, Parkent, Bogot districts was criticized, in which conditions are much better than in the above-mentioned districts, where, despite the absence of a railway and remoteness, great changes have been achieved.
