The exhibition’s opening ceremony dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fragi took place at the Uzbekistan Arts Academy gallery.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov attended the event.

This exhibition was organized as part of the execution of the Presidential Resolution “On the wide celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fragi” of February 19, 2024.

The exhibition presents more than 30 paintings by famous Turkmen artists and photos depicting the 60-meter monument of Makhtumkuli Fragi in Ashgabat.

The exhibition will run until August 22.
