Asia House Gallery in London hosts a photo exhibition, telling the story of Sarah Eshonturayeva, an icon of the dramatic art of Uzbekistan, and her connections with representatives of the Jadid intellectual movement.

The exhibition includes more than 70 historical photographs, personal letters and documents from the Eshonturayeva family archive, which are exhibited outside of Uzbekistan for the first time.

The first exhibition abroad in recent years, dedicated to the history of enlightenment in Uzbekistan, aroused great interest among the public in London. On an opening day, the exhibition gathered more than 150 guests, among whom were well-known representatives of art, professors, diplomats, public figures, and journalists.
