The exhibition “The Splendours of Uzbekistan’s Oases. At the Crossroads of Caravan Routes” in the Louvre has ended.

It was a large-scale and labor-intensive project dedicated to the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan. It took four years to prepare the exhibition. More than 70 rare items made of ceramics, wood, metal, and wall paintings have been restored for display in the famous Parisian museum. 138 items from Uzbekistan museums were presented.

For the first time, the rich cultural heritage of the region was presented in one of the largest museums in the world. Since its opening on November 23, 2022, more than 260 thousand people visited the exhibition.

The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan has expressed gratitude to all the specialists who took part in the implementation of this important project.
