A solemn ceremony dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the SCO RATS took place at the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti–Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The event was attended by representatives of several international organizations, competent authorities of the SCO member states, the SCO Public Diplomacy Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, diplomatic missions of the SCO member states accredited in Uzbekistan, observer countries and dialogue partner states, permanent missions of the SCO member states to the SCO RATS.

In his speech, the Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS Ruslan Mirzayev briefly highlighted the main stages of functioning of the SCO permanent body, emphasizing that in a relatively short time, by historical standards, the period of existence of the RATS made a significant contribution to the development of the SCO, became its bearing support and coordinating center for the fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism at the regional and global levels.

It was also noted that in the coming period, the SCO RATS Executive Committee would continue to work on improving the interaction of competent authorities, and developing additional measures, the implementation of which will give a new impetus and strengthen the practical component of anti-terrorist cooperation.
