Sociologists and environmental experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Horticulture Agency, together with the World Bank experts, visited the citizens’ assembly of “Peshagor” mahalla in Zaamin district. They studied the prospects for the implementation of projects in horticulture and the establishment of an Agro-Logistics Center.

Minister of Agriculture Aziz Voitov, Head of the Horticulture Agency Khusniddin Karimov and Zaamin District Hokim Alisher Abduganiyev thoroughly studied the local situation to effectively use the land in “Peshagor” CAM, create a garden and vineyards, organize an agro-logistics center, and a floriculture cluster.

They were informed about the geography, nature, irrigation systems, types and quality of cultivated agricultural products.

Measures for the implementation of projects in these areas were defined. Experts received answers to all the questions they were interested in, so that they could develop recommendations.

“This year, it will be possible to employ residents of the district at the expense of several such projects”, says Bobur Umurzakov, Assistant to the Hokim for “Peshagor” CAM.
